WHAT WE BELIEVE
A Word-based, evangelical foundation
Clesia Media is built on a Word-based, conservative evangelical foundation. We hold to the historic Christian faith revealed in Scripture, and everything we create, our music, courses and resources, is shaped by these convictions.
The God of the Bible
We believe in the God who revealed Himself to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who spoke through the prophets, and who has made Himself known through His Son, Jesus Christ. He is the Creator of all things, the living and eternal God.
The Gospel
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead and is Lord. Salvation is God's gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within believers, leads us into truth, transforms us into the likeness of Christ, empowers us to live according to God's will and equips the Church for ministry.
The Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative and sufficient Word of God, without error in its original writing, and our final standard for faith, doctrine and life.
The Church
We believe in the local and global Church as the body of Christ, called to worship God, grow in truth, build up believers, make disciples and fulfil the mission entrusted to her by Jesus.
The Great Commission
We believe followers of Jesus are called to proclaim the gospel and make disciples, taking the good news of Christ to the lost and unreached.
We stand firmly on the Word of God as our final authority, not culture, trends, or personal experience.
CONTENDING FOR TRUTH
We are also committed to biblical discernment in a time when New Age ideas, mystical practices, meditative techniques divorced from Scripture, and teachings that shift focus from the real Jesus, have quietly found their way into church life. We believe these influences should be discerned, avoided, and exposed so that the Church can remain rooted in truth and the clarity of God's Word.
